ABOUT TOOLPATH DESIGN
Our company and values
Toolpath Design is your go-to source for custom design, manufacturing, millwork and cabinetry. Our CNC shop is open to jobs across the materials spectrum from woods to metals, plastics and composites. What is CNC?
We are the best at two types of jobs:
- Jobs requiring many parts to be produced with high precision, efficiency and repeatability. From cabinetry to specialty parts, you can rely on us to provide consistent, high quality local manufacturing with short lead times.
- Jobs with an offbeat design challenge requiring a one-of-a-kind solution. Maybe it’s a unique 3D carved sign, a piece of custom built-in furniture, a collection of decorative panels, or a live edge feature wall. If you’ve been having difficulty finding just the right person who can turn your unique and beautiful vision into reality, you’ve come to the right place.
By automating the milling process, our CNC technology opens up vast design possibilities.
With decades of experience in woodworking, product design and digital fabrication, our team of professionals serves a diverse client base of businesses across southern Vancouver Island. After ten years in operation as a CNC shop and outgrowing yet another workshop, in 2024 we settled into our new home base at 562 David Street in the Rock Bay neighbourhood near downtown Victoria BC.
Through the creative branch of our business known as Land & Water Studio, we design and directly sell custom artworks and furniture with a specialty in live edge wood and 3D carved topographical maps.
In our business, it’s all about trust—and we believe in earning yours through authentic, clear communication and a solutions-focused process. We work closely with you every step of the way, striving to exceed expectations whether the job is big or small. Our team’s integrity, versatility and attention to detail sustain our excellent reputation and keep clients coming back. The success of our clients’ projects is the cornerstone of how we define success as a company.
