PRODUCT MANUFACTURING
Skip the guesswork. We're your one-stop shop from from product design to development and production.
Are you looking to contract a company to manufacture your products for you?
Are you worried about import and shipping fees and insecure overseas supply chains?
Would you rather have your products made locally on Vancouver Island?
Toolpath Design manufactures products that are branded and sold by other companies. We specialize in CNC machining of sheet goods, with small to large batch production of aluminum, brass, wood and plastic products.
Our full-service CNC machine shop is conveniently located in downtown Victoria. We make it easy for you to be closely involved in the design and digital fabrication process when your situation requires it.
We can take you from napkin drawings to a fully rendered digital 3D model, to a working prototype and on to production runs once the design is tested and finalized. Or you can simply bring us your CAD design and materials and we’ll cut them to your specifications.
We can also 3D print parts where needed and engrave your branding onto your product for a customized look.
We’ve designed and produced a wide array of products including ready-to-assemble flat pack furniture, foam moulds, aftermarket parts, replacement fittings, custom handles and knobs, cutting boards, decor and signs.
OUTSOURCE PRODUCTION, LOCALLY
You don’t have to rely on uncertain overseas supply chains. Keep your manufacturing here at home, and reduce shipping costs while getting your product faster. We’ve developed a number of in-house processes to keep production as precise and efficient as possible. Part nesting and labelling ensures optimal organization with the least amount of material waste. From our wide range of services, we’ll apply our expertise in Design for Manufacturing and Assembly to choose the best solutions that keep your project cost-effective, highly accurate and scalable.
FEATURE PROJECT
Toolpath Design was contracted by Pacific Yak Angler to assist with prototyping, design and CNC machining of custom aluminum and plastic parts. The challenge was to develop a collection of rails, tracks, mounts and backing plates for kayak angling. Pacific Yak Angler is now shipping their branded parts across North America with a portion of proceeds supporting a number of salmon enhancement projects in British Columbia.
Marc and his team have been awesome to work with as we design new products and go through the design and testing process. Always professional in their dealings, timely with production and always available to answer questions and make adjustments when necessary. Would highly recommend them to anyone requiring machining, design and other services. – Brad Torry, Pacific Yak Angler
